This is the conceptual overview of an ambitious surveillance video search engine that DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) is working on.  The search engine will comb through massive amounts of raw surveillance footage, comparing geospatial information in the raw videos to that contained in sample clips which depict ‘activities of interest.’  For more on this project, you can read the entire prospectus here.
