Every vacation must come to an end. This was my parting view of the lake. Now that I’ve returned to the city, I can’t help but wonder how difficult it would be to sell everything and take up permanent residence in the family cottage. If only I had the courage to live here year round. Perhaps one day I will. After all, this land rightly belongs to me through the sweat and toil of my enterprising white ancestors…
