(no) thoughts on Iran
I just finished reading Azar Nafisi’s Reading Lolita in Tehran about a month ago. It seems a little timely right now. I have very few thought about the situation that is unfolding in Iran right now, and think that it is perhaps prudent to wait for the dust to begin to settle before I even try to figure out what the hell is going on. When the most fruitful sources of “news” are a handful of Twitter feed, then caution becomes the most sane analytical approach. (You can see where I stand here on the question of whether or not Twitter is a reliable source of information).
